On some occasions, the seriousness of log file analysis is simply
bewildered by the wide variety of random, ridiculous crap you
find. Here is a short list, some only made me chuckle while others
left me grabbing a hold of my desk so I wouldn't fall out of the chair:

Researching a spyware attack, a user's browser was redirected to
blablablablablablablablabla.com. This is a real domain name! The best part is the
contents of this site's index page. The page says that there was an error
downloading because of active firewalls. It instructs the user to turn off
their firewall and try visiting freeserials.com. This is perhaps the worst
advice I've ever seen!
